With over two decades of experience in the software industry, with focus on cybersecurity and architecture, leading global security strategy for enterprise products at Maersk. My journey has taken me from hands-on software development to designing secure architectural frameworks, managing API gateways, embedding automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines, driving cloud-native security adoption to presenting KPI metrics to Vice Presidents and board and securing funding for security/arc initiatives. My expertise includes stakeholder management, threat modelling, dynamic application security testing, tackling technical debt, and promoting secure-by-design principles. I strongly believe that security should be a mindset—built in from the start, automated where possible, and never a blocker to innovation.

Earlier in my career, I worked at Schlumberger’s Seismic Data Processing division, WesternGeco, where I had the opportunity to work across the US, Germany, and India. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance software products for the oil and gas industry—integrating geophysical research, HPC, and software engineering to support data-driven decisions in natural resource exploration.

I began my professional journey as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Mumbai. That formative year in industry inspired me to deepen my technical expertise, leading me to pursue a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. My educational foundation was laid with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore India

Outside of work, I have a lifelong passion for Tennis and Carnatic music. I’ve been singing since I was three and swinging a racket since I was eight—both have been steady companions through the years. Family life adds its own rhythm and excitement. As a daughter, sister, wife, and mother of two energetic boys, there’s never a dull moment.
